Thermo-Rite Glass Fireplace Doors are designed to fit over the opening to avoid unsightly joints between a metal surface and the fireplace surround. In addition the finished effect is far more pleasing if the glass area of the doors approximates the fireplace opening.

The doors are fitted to the opening by four L shaped brackets which can be bolted to the back of the door in a variety of positions, either to the inside edge of the fireplace opening, or into the hearth and up into the lintel.
